Meet Our Veterinary Team

Meet the Steckelberg Veterinary Clinic Staff:

Shelby , Veterinary Receptionist

Shelby joined Steckelberg Vet Clinic in June of 2024 and is thrilled to be part of such a well-known and respected business. With a background in social work from UNI, she is excited to step into the veterinary field, where her love for animals truly shines. Growing up on a farm, Shelby has always had a passion for animals, and she cherishes the opportunity to see a variety of them daily while learning about veterinary medicine.

At SVC, Shelby does much more than just answer the phone; she actively seeks to help wherever she can, contributing to the clinic's welcoming environment. She appreciates the fast-paced nature of the clinic, which inspires her to stay organized and efficient.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband, Kamren, and their two dogs, Nova (a German Shorthaired Pointer) and Diesel (a chocolate lab). They’re excitedly preparing for the arrival of their first baby girl in January 2025.

Shelby loves hearing from clients about their positive experiences with the veterinary team. She takes pride in the thoughtful gestures from clients, such as cards and goodie baskets, which reinforce the strong relationships built at SVC. As the only clinic open on Saturdays in the area, she recognizes the vital role they play in the community, ensuring pets receive the care they need when it matters most.

With her enthusiasm and commitment, Shelby is a valued member of the SVC team!

Stacy, Veterinary Receptionist

Meet Stacy! Stacy joined us in October 2024 and we are thrilled to have her with us. She is the friendly face you see when you walk in our doors. Her favorite part about working with us is getting to meet new people every day. Previously, Stacy was a CNA for 30 years! She decided to come work in vet med to try something different. She finds that she really enjoys our team dynamics and how we are all willing to help each other.

Some fun facts about Stacy: She has been married for 17 years and has 3 kids, 1 cat, and 2 dogs. Her cat is Smokey, and her dogs are Kain and Kaya! She has lived in Conrad for 10 years now. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Some of her hobbies include shopping, reading, cooking, and cleaning. Every year she plans a trip with one of her best friends and loves to travel. Next time you stop in, please give her a warm hello!
