Meet Our Veterinary Team

Meet the Steckelberg Veterinary Clinic Staff:

Katelyn Steinberg, Practice Manager

Katelyn started with us as a veterinary assistant in 2022, but she is not new to the field. She has been working in vet med since 2015! She recently became Practice Manager in November 2024. "Animals have always been my passion. I started working in the veterinary field about 10 years ago and fell in love." She advises anyone wanting to enter the field that you do have to work with people just as much as animals, just so they know!

Her favorite part of this industry is getting to meet new people and their pets. She specifically wanted to join the Steckelberg Vet Clinic team because she had heard it was a great place to work with a super fantastic team and a friendly, welcoming environment. After settling in, she says her favorite part of this team is making new great friends and learning about large animal vet care from them.

What most inspires her is her husband. "He is such a motivated individual with a mindset to accomplish his goals. He makes me want to do the same!" Success is a daily goal for Katelyn, and she feels that she has had a successful day when she can go to sleep at night, knowing she made a difference, even just a little one.

Katelyn has 2 boys, Hayden and Wyatt, that like to keep her on her toes! She also has two dogs, and one of her favorite hobbies is taking them for nature walks and hikes. The next place on her travel bucket list is Banff National Park in Canada. She is not currently binge-watching any shows, but any Taylor Sheridan show is pretty high up there. The one thing she could not live without? Her kids, of course.

We are so glad to have Katelyn here at Steckelberg Vet Clinic! Make sure to say hi the next time you are in!
